Recent findings from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicate a concerning trend: nearly half of American adults over 30 are grappling with some form of periodontal disease. This issue transcends oral health, leading to symptoms like gum bleeding and bad breath, gum recession, loose teeth, and is associated with various adverse health effects.

A groundbreaking study in The Lancet Healthy Longevity by esteemed researchers Dr. Fernando Guastaldi (Harvard School of Dental Medicine), Dr. Sara Pai (Massachusetts General Hospital), and Dr. Henrique Matheus (São Paulo State University College of Dentistry) explored periodontitis's pathophysiology and its comorbidities.

They discovered links between periodontitis and over 50 systemic inflammatory diseases, many of which interact with complications from immunotherapy. The study suggests that treating periodontitis could enhance cancer immunotherapy outcomes and overall patient health.

Dr. James Wilson, President of the American Academy of Periodontology, also noted the link between systemic inflammation, respiratory diseases, and periodontal disease. A study in Qatar involving 568 COVID-19 patients found that those with periodontal disease were three times more likely to suffer severe COVID-19 complications.

In his press release, Dr. Wilson stressed the importance of maintaining oral health to prevent periodontal disease, especially during a pandemic such as COVID-19, which is known to trigger an inflammatory response.

Addressing this need, the Korean Unitein Gum Restore Toothpaste has entered the U.S. market. Targeting periodontitis and gum cell repair, this product has been well-received. A Green Eastern survey in Hong Kong with 463 participants showed that 66% reported reduced gum inflammation, and 52.4% experienced less gum recession after using the toothpaste for over a year.

Since its Hong Kong launch in 2017, Unitein Toothpaste by Green Eastern has become a top seller. With 99% natural ingredients and free from harmful chemicals, it's suitable for all ages. Its key component, 'Unitein,' developed by Kim Tae-yoon, is a breakthrough in the Korean health food industry, holding three patents for its effectiveness against diseases related to abnormal cells and diabetes.

A visit to the 'Unitein' production facility by a reporter from The Epoch Times Korea revealed a process that blends ancient Korean medical practices and secret recipes with modern techniques, offering a novel approach to combatting abnormal cells.

The Innovative Approach of Unitein in Addressing Abnormal Cells

The research behind Unitein introduces a novel perspective on abnormal cells in the human body, highlighting their dormant presence even in healthy individuals. Unlike traditional treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery, which aim to eliminate abnormal cells, Unitein uniquely reverts these cells to a normal state. This dual action, regulating the immune system and preventing the growth of potential abnormal cells, is a key distinction of Unitein.

The team presents the concept of a “right triangle” defense system in the human body, consisting of three pillars: the body itself, the environment, and mental health. They argue that modern challenges like environmental pollution, contaminated food, and chemical additives significantly weaken the body's immune function. Against these threats, 'Unitein' stands out as a potent immune system enhancer.

A Milestone in Korean Health Food Patents, Pioneering Fermentation Technology in Unitein Products

Central to Unitein's approach is the utilization of Bacillus fermentation technology (Patent No.: 10-1144471). This technique is employed in the development of its health food series, with a focus on strengthening the body’s immune defense against both external pathogens and internal health issues.

Meeting the stringent Korean standards for food hygiene and healthcare, the “Unitein” health food series has earned three significant patents. These include a novel protein manufacturing method for transforming abnormal cells (Patent No.: 10-1144471), an innovative process for nine-times steaming and drying red ginseng (Patent No.: 10-0714408), and a unique technique of integrating Bacillus with red ginseng (Patent No.: 10-1070088).

Korean scientific research has highlighted the exceptional therapeutic properties of this new protein type in these health foods. Its benefits span treating diabetes, cancer, food poisoning, and boosting immunity. The innovation behind Unitein was recognized with the prestigious 2017 Korean Women Inventor's Gold Award, underscoring the pioneering nature of their research.

The Mastery Behind Unitein's ‘Nine Steaming and Nine Drying’ Process

Central to Unitein's formulation is the specialized use of red ginseng, processed through an intricate "nine steaming and nine drying" method. Far from being merely traditional, this technique has been meticulously honed to extract the most effective components of red ginseng.

The process involves cultivating select ginseng strains and blending them with ingredients like soybeans and orange peel for fermentation. This results in the creation of the plant-based protein "Unitein," known for its capacity to transform abnormal cells.

Rooted in traditional Korean medical knowledge and folklore, this method is essential for unlocking the full nutritional potential of ginseng, especially its saponin content. Unlike conventional Korean-made red ginseng, which has a saponin absorption rate of around 13%, Unitein's unique process boosts this rate significantly. The mastermind behind Unitein has refined this technique to achieve up to 80% saponin absorption, thus enhancing the medicinal properties of the red ginseng.

The developer explains, "The 'nine steaming and nine drying' process is often cited in our industry, but true mastery is rare. It's a complex, time-consuming process, taking over 20 days to complete."

The selection of ginseng is also crucial. Only four-year-old ginseng plants, which are likened to the human age of 40 and grow without the need for fertilizers or pesticides, are used. This age is chosen for its ability to maintain its integrity throughout the rigorous processing.

Unitein's Exceptional Genetic DNA Repair Capability

Research by Handong University in Korea focusing on "DNA Damage Inhibition" has underscored the remarkable effects of Unitein's red ginseng essence, developed by Kim Tae-yoon. Even at a very low concentration of 1/1000th, the essence showed a 14% recovery rate for genetic DNA damage, an efficacy 18 times greater than ordinary red ginseng.

This finding highlights Unitein's role in supporting cell regeneration. An experiment at the Unitein facility illustrated this vividly. Two trees were observed, one watered with wastewater from Unitein production. The tree treated with Unitein water developed thicker and broader leaves than its counterpart, visibly demonstrating the regenerative capabilities of the Unitein formula.

I appreciat this information. I have had two course of chemo and am now on Keytruda — immunotherapy == doing well — no signs of cancer. However, my gums are not in good shape — was told to use a brand name gum disease toothpaste. I do plan on looking into this product. Thank you

dental health is very important. the plaque in the arteries around the heart has been found to have oral anaerobes in it. any chronic infection (including peridontal disease) taxes the immune system. if you are unwilling to care for your teeth, have them pulled.
