Unitein is proven to restore damaged cells at a 37% DNA restoration rate at full concentration and 14% DNA restoration rate with a 1000 times diluted solution.
Here’s what the research says:
What is UNITEIN proven to do?
Study Summary: "Our results highlight the potential therapeutic role of Unitein in mitigating inflammation and enhancing immune responses. Results revealed that Unitein effectively suppressed the release of proinflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, and interferon (IFN)-γ, as well as enzymes COX-2 and iNOS from RAW 264.7 cells, while concurrently promoting the release of anti-inflammatory cytokines IκB-α, IL-10, and IL-4. Furthermore, Unitein inhibited the increase in TNF-α, IL-1β, IFN-γ, IL-12, nuclear factor (NF)-κB p50, NF-κB p65, and iNOS induced by lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) in isolated mouse splenocytes. Notably, Unitein also exhibited the potential to stimulate NK cell activity."

How does Myrrh aid in reducing gum bleeding?
Study summary: "A double-blinded clinical study assessed the effects of myrrh application to the oral mucosa. Myrrh speeds up the healing process. They prepared toothpastes containing either myrrh alone, or myrrh with chamomile that were applied on bleeding gingiva, and compared the results with those of a placebo control. They found a significant improvement in gingival bleeding in participants using myrrh-containing toothpaste compared to controls. 49 volunteers with bleeding gums took part in this double blind, placebo – controlled, clinical trial for 2 weeks. The results indicated significant effect of F21 and F22 on bleeding gum compared with placebo (P < 0.05 and P < 0.001 respectively). Çonclusion: The present study suggests that this toothpaste can be introduced as an effective preparation on bleeding gum."

What’s Myrrh’s observed effect on stimulating cell viability?
Study Summary: "Myrrh has been reported to have a stimulatory effect on leukocytes. It potentiates leukocyte migration to the injury site and maintains their function and proliferation during the healing process."

What has been shown of Myrrh’s benefit on boosting wound healing?
Studies summary: "Myrrh has been reported to have a protective effect on tissue from the adverse effects of ethanol and lead toxicity. This is through its stimulatory effect on mucous secretion, antioxidant, antitumor, and immune stimulatory potentials, wound healing."

What has research shown on Myrrh’s immunomodulation abilities?
Study summary: "(This study) compared myrrh mouthwash & saline mouthwash, which was used by the control group. They reported that the myrrh group started the remodeling stage earlier and showed good immunomodulation, as well as antibacterial and antifungal effects. Compared to the control group, they found decreased inflammation in all other groups after one week."

What has research shown on Mastic Gum’s aid in fighting plaque & inflammation?
Study Summary: "Mastic gum displayed antibacterial and antimicrobial properties and inhibited plaque accumulation, constituting a beneficial adjuvant in caries prevention. In the treatment and prevention of periodontal diseases, Pistacia lentiscus essential oil provided effective antibacterial activity against a variety of periodontal bacteria as well as anti-inflammatory properties. For oral cancer, several clinical trials revealed interesting results against cell proliferation, induction of apoptosis, and regulation of intracellular signaling pathways. This indicates the potential of Mastic gum to serve as a preventive and therapeutic agent for oral mucosa inflammation and oral cancer."

What is Mastic gum’s effect on periodontal pathogens?
Study summary: "These findings support the use of mastic extract for prevention of periodontal disease, as both infectious aspects and tissue decay play into the disease pathology....The effective inhibition of numerous periodontal pathogens, without exhibiting any cytotoxic effects towards cells of epithelial or mesenchymal origin, makes mastic gum an ideal antimicrobial factor for oral inflammatory diseases. Specifically, the antimicrobial effect of mastic gum against pathogens known to contribute to periodontal disease was assessed. Mastic extract was found to have a significantly higher inhibition effect on potential periodontal pathogens (P. gingivalis, S. oralis, A. actinomycetemcomitans, F. nucleatum, and P. intermedia) compared with 3% hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) (p ≤ 0.016). Not only that, rather than having a cytotoxic effect on epithelial cell lines, mastic extract was found to have a beneficial effect on cell viability. The cell lines treated with mastic extract had a significantly higher viability than cells treated with 3% H2O2 or chlorhexidine digluconate. Chlorhexidine digluconate is commonly used to limit bacterial plaque formation, however it has been shown to potentially have adverse effects on oral tissue health."

What is Natto’s observed effect on tooth loss and bone density?
Study Summary: "In this 5-year cohort study, we aimed to determine whether the intake of natto, a fermented soya bean food product, has an indirect effect on tooth loss incidence through BMD changes among postmenopausal women. Dietary natto intake is significantly indirectly associated with a lower incidence of tooth loss among postmenopausal women, and systemic bone density could be a mediator of this association."

How does Natto protect against mucositis?
Study summary: "(Natto) could possess remarkable potential to reduce pain and promote oral mucositis healing with minimal safety concerns. In this study, we first report that (Natto) from the supernatant of Bacillus subtilis can promote the healing of oral mucositis, which extends the application scope of NK."
